The story began in the basement of Folk café/bar, West Didsbury, Summer 2009…

A fanzine had been designed for the café – but we could not find the perfect place to print it.

The decision was made to print the fanzine ourselves. This job was quickly followed by a commission to print banners for local music festivals…By the end of the summer, our jobs had been quit and ‘one69a’ was born.

We moved to a new property – ‘The Mansion’ in West Didsbury and in the basement we created not only t-shirts, bags and other prints but many great memories as well. As the orders have kept flowing in we have now progressed on to the next level…a wonderful, spacious, studio at Islington Mill – a busy hub of creativity for all the arts.
