Object Lessons

Live printing a commemorative napkin designed by Fraser Chapman as part of the Object Lessons show at Islington Mill. The napkin commemorates a collapse at the mill 186 years ago that killed 19 people. The idea for Fraser’s design was taken from a napkin from the Working Class Movement Library that commemorated a mining disaster in the early 20th century. The napkins were produced and given out at the exhibition opening…with tea and cake.
