one69A ran a project with a group of pupils from Webster Primary School, Moss Side. We took inspiration from the work of Henri Rousseau, in particular the amazing jungle scenes he depicted. http://www.henrirousseau.org/ We re created our own jungle by screen printing each element of the scene onto fabric then pasting the prints onto wooden board to create our very own mural - ace! Folk, the home of our first ever screenprint and studio, arranged a festival in Ibiza. The festival encompassed the full balearic vibe, taking its guests to the most amazing venues on the island and throwing wonderful parties full of music loving people. Justin set us the task to produce banners for the festival in exchange for a free flight and accomodation. The brief was 'old coke slogans' . From this we produced various banners, posters and flags using coke bottle & bottle top images, changing the word coke to foke. With this we also produced flags with Folk Ibiza on them. ...

On Saturday we printed in the Umbro showroom for Future Everything. The t-shirt designs were submitted by various artist and designers through a competition held on the Future Everything website. Many thanks to Tasha Whittle (TXLW), Martyn Mills (Starvin Artist), Danielle Lovett, Kate Dunstone, Haroon Ehsan and James Hayes for the designs. We would also like to thank Alfred Darlington (Daedalus) for gracing us with his presence and showing us a new technique in the live printing that he picked up from the Hit & Run crew in LA.
