Pattern in architecture: Screenprinting workshop
Screen printing workshop at Macclesfield Heritage Centre as part of the Joy Division Memorial Exhibition. Based on Anton Corbijn and Kevin Commins’ photography of the band, the workshop enabled participants to make screen printing templates based on architectural and geometric detail. Those who came to the morning photography workshop used their images as a starting point; spare images were available for newcomers. Having used the images to make designs and cut their stencils, participants transfered their work onto a bag or t-shirt. Brilliant results!!
